Audley Binswood partners with local Charity as second phase is announced
Audley Binswood, the home of the luxury Audley retirement village in Royal Leamington Spa, has officially announced a new one year partnership with the charitable organisation, the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. This partnership will look to raise money through a number of different events over the next 12 months, including an abseiling challenge in October and the annual Christmas Fair.
Formed in 2003, the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance has been saving thousands of lives across the counties of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. The paramedics, doctors and pilots work together to provide advanced clinical care to patients at the scene of an accident, before flying them to hospital which ensures each patient is given the very best chances of survival and recovery.
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such an important charity which, through their day to day work, provide essential lifesaving services across Warwickshire & Northamptonshire. With each rescue mission costing an average of £1,700 we aim to raise as much money as possible to further help deliver these services.”
Audley Binswood also recently announced that, following high demand, all properties launched in May 2014 have been sold. As a result Audley has brought forward the development of the second phase, which will convert the original gym and art blocks of the former school into twenty luxury apartments, all of which will be in keeping with the high standards of the existing properties in and around the Victorian Gothic Binswood Hall.
Binswood Hall also contains the Audley Club which offers facilities similar to a five star boutique hotel including Whittles restaurant, bar/bistro, library, swimming pool and health and wellbeing centre. The Club is open to those who live in the village and the local community while the restaurant and bar/bistro are open to all by reservation.
