Fairmile official opening

Last week we welcomed owners, team members, and lots of people who contributed to the planning, design and build of the beautiful new village that is Audley Fairmile.

The Official Opening Event at Audley Fairmile was attended by over 100 people, on what felt like the hottest day of the year. In attendance were owners, guests, and partners, including architects, interior designers, and many who contributed to bringing a stunning vision to life.

The Mayor of Elmbridge, Richard Williams, officially opened the village and ‘cut the ribbon’ with Nick Sanderson. The Audley Fairmile team delivered fantastic food and refreshments; much needed on a hot day! We have already received some wonderful feedback from property owners at Fairmile and from invited guests on the day.

Thank you so very much for inviting us to your Grand Opening of Audley Fairmile, which we thoroughly enjoyed, meeting people and all of your lovely staff. We are very much looking forward to living there, hopefully not in the too distant future.

The history of Cobham

Nestled on the banks of the River Mole in Surrey, Cobham is a charming village. Its origins can be traced back to the Iron Age Cobham is even mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Other historical points of interest include references Jane Austen made of Cobham and her love of nearby Painshill Park and the English countryside in her romantic novel Emma, and also Cobham Mill, the 19th-century Grade II listed mill is the only surviving fully working watermill in Surrey.

May we express our grateful thanks to Nick, Cliff and all the Team for a splendid occasion today. You did us all proud and Keturah would have been most impressed with what has happened on her beloved plot! Thank you again for including us in the celebrations.
