Introducing The Audley Foundation

The Audley Foundation

Making a lasting difference to the lives of older people

Through the launch of The Audley Foundation, an independent charity, Audley will now have a platform which will enable it collectively to organise its giving and link it to causes that are near and dear to property owners living in an Audley retirement village, community customers and team members.

What is The Audley Foundation?

The Audley Foundation seeks to raise funds to support charitable organisations that enhance the lives of older people. This is something the Audley Group and its villages have always done but we are now creating a dedicated platform to raise more monies for charity.

Audley Group Ltd has pledged to cover all administrative costs in the formative years, until such time that The Foundation is established, so all funds raised will go directly to named charities. Audley will also be encouraging its business partners to support the Foundation.

Fundraising in 2022 and beyond

In 2022 we will focus on employee and corporate fundraising. We have already organised events such as a virtual trek and will continue to organise further events including fitness challenges and staff fun days. Audley will also launch payroll and till-giving initiatives for its team members and customers respectively. From 2023, each Audley retirement village will be able to decide which local charities to support from monies raised locally. The Foundation will provide support for these village events which could be financial and/or employee time.

Tour D’Audley

Tour D’Audley is currently underway. John Nettleton, Chair and Trustee of The Audley Foundation, has been cycling across the country taking in Audley villages en route. John's journey started on 14th May and will last a week.

The Blenheim 7k Run

Sunday 15th May

Over 100 team members signed up and took part on Sunday 15th May 2022, in what was another fantastic spirited event. Some people ran, some walked, some brought their families along to join in, and some four-legged friends even tagged along on the day.

And there's more coming up...

  • Our sales teams are undertaking a sponsored car wash
  • The General Manager at Audley Clevedon is abseiling from the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley
  • The General Manager and some of the team at Audley Ellerslie will be marching across all 17 peaks of the Malvern Hills

The Audley Foundation is registered and regulated by the Charity Commission. Registered charity number 1187871
