Audley's new Planning Director

On this World Town Planning Day 2021 (Yes, that’s a thing!) we’d like to introduce Matthew Nicholson our new Planning Director.

Matthew joined Audley Group on 1st November as Planning Director and brings over 20 years of experience in planning and development. Matthew's arrival coincides with World Town Planning Day on the 8th November when planners from over 30 countries will celebrate how good planning improves the lives of people and benefits society creating places to live, work and socialise.

Audley Planning Director commented

“I am delighted to join Audley Group to support their growth at the forefront of integrated retirement communities. Good planning is essential to create fantastic places to live and whilst we should celebrate the planning profession on World Town Planning Day, improvements and reform to our planning system are required to ensure that new homes of all types can be delivered without delay.

Integrated retirement communities have an important part to play in housing delivery and this should be considered by local authorities when planning for their future housing needs”.
