Step back into the drama and intrigue of the Victorian era as Anthony shares the extraordinary life of William Blackmore, a visionary millionaire, art collector, and bold transatlantic investor whose legacy has been all but forgotten. From high‑stakes deals in the City of London to land ventures across the American Midwest, Blackmore’s world was one of ambition, curiosity, and risk. His story takes us from rare early photographs of Native American communities to the whirlwind rise and tragic fall of a man who lived larger than life. After the lecture, you are invited to join us for a complimentary two-course dinner in our restaurant, No3, along with the opportunity to meet existing Audley owners and hear first-hand about the lifestyle they now enjoy.
