Set alongside Buckinghamshire’s rolling Chiltern Hills is Audley Chalfont Dene. At its heart, the magnificent Chalfont House is home to 11 luxury apartments as well as the Audley Club with its health club, library and restaurant overlooking the landscaped grounds and lake.
The picturesque village offers a place of tranquillity just minutes away from the vibrant town of Chalfont St Peter.
On the back of the success of this site, and the ongoing local need for the type of accommodation provided, Audley is now looking to extend the development onto additional land acquired from the Epilepsy Society.
The site is located to the north of Cross Lanes, and to the south of the recently completed care home development by Porthaven. The site immediately abuts Audley’s Chalfont Dene development to the south east.
The development would comprise 60 additional units of accommodation, 80 car parking spaces and a village hall as an extension to Chalfont Dene.
Vehicular access would be taken from Chesham Lane via Micholls Avenue and past the recently completed Porthaven care home development. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access would be provided between the new development and the existing facilities at Chalfont Dene.
The proposed new development would rely on the care and communal facility infrastructure already in place at Chalfont Dene and would supplement this with a new village hall for the care community, which would also be made available for hire to members of the public on a controlled basis.
