Menu tasting at The Lytton Restaurant – Chalfont Dene
On Friday 29th April 2016, the first owners to have moved in to Audley Chalfont Dene were treated to lunch in The Lytton Restaurant. The owners were the first to sample some of the varied seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients from the menu created by Head Chef Andy Britton.
The menu included dishes such as Salmon Ballantine with Beetroot Carpaccio and Horseradish Cream, Roasted Artichoke and Spinach Ravioli with Parmesan, Seared Seabass with Crushed Potato, Curly Kale and Lemon Beurre Blanc and Pear and Almond Tart with Pear Sorbet.
The event was a great success with the owners toasting to Andy and his team of chefs Rob Judd, Aaron Lewis and Hugo Crozier, as well as the Village Manager Richard Petrik.
Richard said “It was great to be able to welcome the owners with this pre-launch of the new menu. Everyone enjoyed the food and gave us very useful feedback on the dishes, which we’ve used to improve the menu even further before we opened the restaurant to the public.”
