Audley St Elphin's Park raises £615 for Sport Relief
Audley St Elphin’s Park, has raised a grand total of £615 for Sport Relief, following a banana filled weekend of activity.
Staff at Audley St. Elphin’s Park, including the head chef and care team, dressed up for the day in banana suits, completing a marathon distance of 26.2miles, walking and running in the grounds. Meanwhile, owners took part in bake sale and Sport Relief sweepstake, to bring the total money raised to an impressive £615.
As part of Britain’s aim to get the nation active, Sport Relief is a national event to get people moving for a good cause. Sport Relief encourages everyone to get involved in any way they can from sponsored runs, swims and cycles to taking part and donating in Sport Relief ran events.
Susan McClean, Village Manager at Audley St Elphin’s Park said: “It was a brilliant event - not only have we raised funds for an amazing cause but we’ve also encouraged more people to get active. It was great to see everyone get into the spirit and really enjoy the challenge.”
Mr and Mrs Brown, Owners at Audley St Elphin’s Park said: “It was fantastic to see all our hard work pay off and to raise such a lot of money for a great cause. We’re already looking forward to getting involved in the next event at St Elphin’s House.”
Audley St Elphin’s Park recently announced the release of its final stage of development, Pollard Way, which will contain 20 one, two and three bedroom apartments and cottages. Once completed from spring 2017, this phase of development will bring the total number of properties for over 55s at the village to 127. A selection of properties are still available for purchase at St Elphin’s Park.
