Audley Redwood releases the first phase of development, Blocks 1-4 for pre-sale
Audley Retirement, the luxury retirement village provider, has completed its purchase of the former Redwood Hotel and Country Club in Failand, just moments away from Bristol. Yesterday it released the first phase of development for pre-sale reservations, these include; Blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4. The company acquired the site in September 2014 to create its first retirement village in the area. Audley has more than 25 years’ experience in providing luxury properties and tailored care for older generations.
Properties in the first phase of development at Audley Redwood are due to be completed in autumn 2017 and will range in price from £299,995 - £710,000. Audley properties are available to own on a 125 year lease, the maintenance of buildings and grounds is provided and flexible care available to owners as and when it’s needed. The heart of the village will be Redwood Hall, home to exceptional facilities including a bar/bistro and restaurant, as well as a library, gym, spa, sauna and steam room. All facilities will be open to owners and the wider community.
The village, set in 8 acres of woodland countryside, will consist of 126 properties for the over 55s, developed in stages over the next two years. The first phase of 36 properties, offers potential owners the choice of two or three bedroom apartments and cottages fitted with Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware and SieMatic kitchens.
The site of the former hotel and country club in Failand, North Somerset, is just five minutes from Clifton, one of the oldest areas of the city. Also nearby is Failand, which features the quaint original village of Lower Failand nestled beside it.
Nick Sanderson, CEO of Audley said: “Audley was created to revolutionise retirement living options. Our aim is to create aspirational properties that offer the type of retirement older generations both want and deserve. With a growing number of people aged over 60 in the UK, who know what they want and are rightly demanding more, and better, living options, it is essential that more developments like this are made available to meet their needs.
“We are incredibly pleased to be taking reservations for Audley Redwood, and are looking forward to opening the village for our new owners and wider community in 2017.”
