Audley Binswood celebrated afternoon tea
Afternoon Tea Week took place across the UK last week with themed menus and offers available from 10th-16th August. From five-star hotels to castles and stately homes, luxury department stores to double decker buses, there was something going on in every region of the UK.
Audley property owners and the wider community could partake in the week at Audley Binswood at The Whittle’s Restaurant, situated in Binswood Hall. Head Chef, Luciano Catalinotto, designed a special set menu which incorporated some of the finest seasonal ingredients from a wide variety of local suppliers. Dishes included classics such a selection of finger sandwiches, traditional fruit scones with strawberry preserve and clotted cream along with a variety of scrumptious cakes. Guests could also choose to enjoy a cocktail or a quintessentially English gin and tonic served from a china cup.
Luciano Catalinotto, Head Chef at The Whittle’s Restaurant, commented, “Afternoon Tea is a tradition in the UK and we’re enjoyed celebrating it with both owners and members of our local community.
