Audley Mote House, which will officially open on Friday 6th July, has completed its recruitment drive under the direction of new Club Services Manager, Philip Urquhart and Ashley Danes, Head Chef of Mote House Restaurant and Bistro

Philips and Ashleyhelped to recruit their respective teams who all started on Monday 21st May. All new recruits completed an intensive two week training programme facilitated by the Audley Academy – which is committed to raising standards and promoting excellence.

Philip Urquhart, who has been in the hospitality industry for more than 12 years, has experience of front of house management and behind the scenes operation as a head chef. Prior to his appointment at Mote House Philip worked as a manager for Holiday Inn hotels.

Ashley Danes has over 15 years of experience and joins the Mote House team after previous positions at Leeds Castle and Oakwood House. Ashley has also run a successful food and beverage company.

Chris Lally, General Manager, Audley Mote House, said: “The new team joins at an exciting time as the main house undergoes final preparations in anticipation of our official opening on Friday 6thJuly.At Audley we strive to deliver the best and I am confident that the team we have in place will do just that, providing high quality service and standards to our residents, Audley Club members and invited guests who eat at our restaurant and use our facilities.”

The bistro and restaurant will offer a variety of dishes using fresh produce sourced from Kent by local greengrocers, fishmongers and butchers. Audley Mote House will be working closely with Produced in Kent, an organisation dedicated to championing local food, drink, products and services.
