Over the next two weeks Audley St Elphin’s House near Darley Dale will be holding an exclusive preview event where visitors can view the stunning show apartment and four of the other properties on sale, as well as the health and leisure facilities of the Audley Club.

The public are invited to preview the show apartment by appointment on 25th – 27th July and 8th – 10th August.  The apartment, which has a private terrace, high ceilings and ensuite shower room has been designed to the highest standard of quality and style.

St Elphin’s House forms the centrepiece of Audley St Elphin's Park retirement village and dates back to 1820. The historic building started life as a private residence and became a well-known girls' boarding school in 1904. The village, which is situated in a 44-acre site, provides a beautiful setting for a number of additional properties that have been built to complement the period character of St Elphin’s House and grounds.

Nick Sanderson, CEO Audley Retirement, said: “Opening the doors to the show apartment is one step on the road to the final launch of St Elphin’s House in September.  We are delighted to be able to bring life back to a property which is fondly remembered by many in the area, some of whom will have been pupils at the school.”

Audley Retirement Villages enable residents to live an independent and healthy later life in their own homes and in a like-minded community with access to flexible care packages and the Audley Club. The Audley Club includes a bar/bistro, sumptuous restaurant, library, fitness pool, therapy rooms and hair salon.
